Hi everyone,

Well, this community has been pretty quiet so far. Despite lack of any official endorsement, I think that I'll be advertising it somewhat in the next few weeks. Perhaps things will pick up then, or will pick up as school gets more stressful.

How has everyone's semester been going? I've been quite busy lately, and have a few big assignments due by the end of the week. It's not fun, but I feel like I've been making some real progress today, which is very, very good.

Hope that everyone is having a lovely afternoon/evening/morning :)

If there's anyone out there with nothing better to do, who wants to proofread a powerpoint presentation, I'd appreciate it. I'm giving the presentation at 2 tomorrow.

Ok guys, we're open for busines, so cha cha cha!

I know a few of you slipped in "under the radar" so to speak, but as of right now, it's required that you read the rules in order to join the community. If you've already joined, please just read through them and leave a comment letting me know you did it. If you are looking to join, FIRST comment that you have read the rules, then submit a request to be added. Neither myself nor book_addict will approve anyone without a corresponding comment, so this is SUPER important! Thanks, guys :)

So welcome, everyone (or me, me, and Sara) to BUS's homework circlemajig, majig because I have yet to come up with a proper name for it. Maybe majig will stick. Hmmm.

So I'm working on getting resources built up, but so far all I have is purplemath and MLA guidelines, which apparently are mostly useless to anyone who's above a 4th grade English level. Oi.

Give it time, but I'm sure this will prove useful.

In the works:

  • A java access point to the chatroom

  • A bulletin board for archival problems

  • Some kind of member database with semester-current info on classes taken and such

  • Maybe even an email list, if you push me hard enough, but not yet.

Welcome!
